Root SuperUser Mere Mortal


Before you begin, there is a simple choice to make;

  • This mime and application is only for you, OR

  • This mime and application is for everyone.
In this example we are going to make it only for you. 'You' can be the root superuser but the mime->application will still only be applicable to the root superuser, not everyone.

The difference in options in the kfm browser between root and mere mortals, is that the root browser will allow you to create a mime->application for everyone in addition to a mime->application only for root.
