Friend of mine has a Toshiba
laptop with a built in Modem (WinModem) he was using a PCMCIA
modem but found a 'LinModem' driver at he above link and got it
to work. Apparently it's for Lucent Winmodems only, but in case
there's anyone interested I thought I'd pass the info
along.

My name is Federico Voges from Argentina :)
I own a Compaq Presario 1200, it comes with an integrated
modem (Lucent winmodem). After a few tests, I made it work with
COL 2.4 using the drivers from www.linmodems.org
(linux568.zip). The key here is that the drivers need a non-smp
kernel. So you must recompile the kernel without SMP, you must
recompile the pcmcia tools also.
PS: Along with the support section of Caldera your site is the
best place to find info about COL. Keep up the good work!!!
